Jerry Treharn at the lathe
My purpose in creating my line
of Antique reproductions is
twofold. First I have tried to
maintain a high level of authenticity
in an effort that my pieces may
compliment cherished Originals.
Second, my Line is intended to
serve as a supplement for antiques
that are often times unusable,
increasingly expensive and hard to find. To successfully accomplish these goals, I have tried to incorporate aspects of the finest, detail rich originals into my designs. I utilize quality materials, time honored construction techniques and deep hand rubbed finishes. When investing in a J. L. Treharn & Co. piece, please be assured that we will make every effort to ensure your satisfaction.
J.L. Treharn
Reproduction Highboy by J.L. Treharn
J. L. Trehan & Companies furniture line best represents the Queen Anne (1720-1750) and Chippendale (1750-1775) period furniture making. They work primarily with solid Maple, Cherry and Poplar hard woods, never  veneers or laminates of any kind. Tiger or Curly Maple is their specialty. J. L. Treharn uses the widest boards possible, carefully matching wood grain.
