Canton Chandelier
Circa 1820
A higher-styled Chandelier
than most of this period. It is
a splendid marriage between
an ornamental turned wood
center and flowing arms
decorated with metal acanthus
leaves, which also serve the
utilitarian purpose of reflecting candlelight. The small
ring on the bottom is for a silk tassel if desired.
