Along with styling, Cherry Tree Design utilizes construction methods that were utilized when the style originated, there by creating a piece that is true to the style and manufacturing methods of that time.Few lights blend function, form, and art as well as Cherry Tree Design’s unique rustic lighting products. Many Cherry Tree Design lights are built almost entirely without nails or screws; each tension joint painstakingly cut and fit into position.                          They first fired up the Forge in a

                                 Hubbardton determined to
                                     master the art of black- smiting.
                                        They scavenged through New
                              England gathering rusting anvils, trip
                               hammers, swage blocks and other
discarded tools of the trade .Founded in 1974,
Hubbardton Forge is today the country's oldest
contemporary commercial forge. The company
combines time-honored traditions of forging with modern
technology to produce a collection of wrought iron
lighting and accessories. Hubbardton Forge has been recognized by the state of Vermont as a three-time recipient of the Governor's Award for Environmental Excellence.
