Lawrence Crouse Workshop builds furniture just like they were done in the 18th and early 19th centuries.  All casework and drawers are joined with hand-cut dovetails, pegged mortise and  tenon joints.  The finishes are time worn with crackling and traditional painting.

The Windsor chairs are made just like they were 200 years  ago. Four different types of wood are used when creating each chair. They are inspired by the great Windsor tradition of comfort, warmth and hospitality. The Lawrence Crouse Workshop creates furniture in the traditional “Windsor” design of  Maple, Hickory, Ash and Pine.
