The
Flat Top Highboy is an excellent example of the Queen Anne period. Notice
the subtle graduation of the drawer sizes. The turned drops on the skirt
of the Highboy are well proportioned and simple rather than ornate as in
previous periods. The intricate carving and simple but elegant cabriole
legs are characteristic of the era.
